How to reach us in summer
By Car
- From Milan: Cinisella exit on North ring-road, express road for Lecco to Colico, SS 38 to Sondrio, Tirano, Bormio.
- From Brescia: A4 Motorway, exit Brescia Ovest, direction Lago d’Iseo, SS42 Breno, Edolo, SS 39 to Aprica, Tirano; SS 38 to Bormio.
- From Bergamo: express road SS 342 to Cisano Bergamasco (17 km approx.), then SS 639 for 10 km to Lecco. Then proceed on express road to Colico, SS38 to Sondrio, Tirano, Bormio.
- From Zemez: La Drossa - Tunnel “Munt la Schera” Drossa - Ponte del Gallo, Livigno; SS301 to Bormio.
- From St. Moritz: Bernina Pass, Forcola Pass, Livigno, Bormio. During the summer season you can reach Bormio across some very picturesque Alpine Passes: • Stelvio Pass, 2758 m. alt, can be reached from the Upper Adige side (Prato Stelvio) and from the Swiss side (Santa Maria) going downhill to Bormio (open till Novembre)

• Gavia Pass, 2651 m. alt, can be reached from Ponte di Legno going downhill towards Santa Caterina Valfurva then to Bormio ( open till Novembre)
• Forcola Pass, 2315 m. alt, can be reached from St. Moritz or from Tirano going downhill towards Livigno then to Bormio (open till Novembre).
By train
- From Milan: Milan – Lecco – Sondrio – Tirano railway line. (2 ½ hours with Trenitalia trains www.trenitalia.it). From Milan, you can also reach the Valtellina area from the following local train stations: San Cristoforo, Romolo, Porta Romana, Lambrate and Greco Pirelli.
- From St. Moritz in Switzerland, you can reach Tirano by taking the RhB Railway line (small red train) and then proceed to Bormio using the local bus service.
- From Tirano you can reach Bormio using the local bus service. (Timetable and services on page www.busperego.com) Bormio is also served by comfortable COACH service from Milan (via Lecco-Sondrio), from the Adriatic and Ligurian Rivieras.
