Summer skiing at the Stelvio Pass

The ski season never ends in Bormio, and we believe we can proudly claim that the “Magnifica Terra” is one of the few places in the world that can guarantee 12 months of skiing per year.

A little less than half an hour away by car, protected by the great Ortler-Cevedale mountain range, behind the highest automobile pass of Europe, is the Stelvio glacier where downhill skiing and snowboarding can be done as well as cross-country skiing from the end of June to the end of November.

Today it is the broadest European glacier for skiing and the slopes, suited to every technical need and level, run from 3450 m to 2760 m in the Stelvio Pass, guaranteeing wonderful skiing and above all a lot of snow and fun.

Stelvio is “home” to Italian athletes, and also to foreign national teams that train on the white snows of Mount Livrio to prepare for their winter competitions.
